Zero cookies, zero trackers, zero analytics, zero accounts

Etsy Fee Calculator does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or advertising networks. There are no accounts to create and no login. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any financial figures you type into the calculator.

If you never contact us, we never learn who you are.

What is stored on your device

To remember a few preferences between visits, we store exactly three small values in your browsers localStorage. All three stay on your device — they are never sent to a server.

• Country — efct-country (also referenced as etsy_calc_country)

  Remembers the seller country you last selected so the homepage can offer to take you straight back there.

• Language — efct-lang (also referenced as etsy_calc_lang)

  Remembers your interface language so the next page you open appears in the same language.

• Theme — etsy_calc_theme

  Remembers whether you chose light mode, dark mode, or system preference.

You can clear these at any time from your browser settings. Clearing them simply resets the site to its defaults — English, no country pre-selected, and your system colour preference.

Everything happens in your browser

Every calculation happens entirely in your browser. No price, cost, or fee you enter ever leaves your device. There is no API call that sends your numbers to a server, no database that stores them, and nothing to leak. Closing the tab discards the working values; reloading the page starts clean.

Because no data leaves the device, there is nothing for us to sell, share, or lose. The site also works offline once loaded, with self-hosted fonts and zero external requests.

GDPR and CCPA — plain language

Whether you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or anywhere else, the approach is the same: we do not collect personal data, we do not track you across sites, and we do not sell data because there is no data to sell.

• No personal information is collected when you use the calculator.
• No cookies or trackers are set that would require a consent banner.
• No analytics provider receives your page views or your inputs.
• If you email us, we use your message only to reply — we do not add you to a mailing list unless you explicitly ask us to.

If you have a privacy question or want us to delete an email you previously sent, write to the address on our contact page and we will take care of it.
